Atmos Energy donates $120,000 to Kentucky charities

Atmos Energy recently allocated $1.5 million in donations to non-profit agencies in its 8-state service area to help customers pay natural gas bills this winter.

For Kentucky, more than $120,000 went to several agencies:

In the Paducah/Mayfield area, it went to West Kentucky Allied Services;
In the Madisonville/Hopkinsville area, it went to Pennyrile Allied Community Services;
In the Owensboro area, it went to Audubon Area Community Services and Owensboro Help Office;
It the Bowling Green area, it went to Community Action of Southern Kentucky;
And in all other service areas of the state, donations went to the Salvation Army.
