Hundreds of thousands of homes are without power after severe storms raked across 8 states on Wednesday evening.

Kentucky had nearly 15,000 outages, including:

1848 - Hopkins County
1663 - McCracken County
1549 - Livingston County
948  - Marshall County
565 -  Ballard County
378 -  Lyon County
333 -  Calloway County
225 -  Graves County

Tennessee had 1742 outages; southeast Missouri had most of the state's 14,341 outages; Arkansas had over 26,000 outages.

The nation's largest outages on Wednesday were in Indiana (192,000) and Michigan (120,000).
