Woman identified in Lake Barkley boating accident

The woman seriously injured in Friday's boating accident on Lake Barkley has been identified.

WKDZ reported the woman was identified as 20-year-old Rylee Owens.  Owens suffered severe leg injuries from a boat propeller and was found unconscious.  She was first taken to Trigg County Hospital then transferred to an undisclosed facility.

A Spotfund account for Owens has been established, with $35,000 of a $50,000 goal raised by Sunday night.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is continuing to investigate the accident.
