A crash early Sunday morning in Webster County led to the arrest of a man on DUI and forged instrument charges.
The Webster County Sheriff's Office reports that they were called just before 2:45 am to KY 56 in Sebree for a single vehicle crash.
Deputies determined the driver, Jose Francisco Mendez was under the influence of alcohol.
During their investigation, they also found that Mendez had a social security card with him that was not his, as well as a fraudulent California identification card matching the Social Security card in his possession.
Mendez was arrested, charged with DUI, other traffic violations including driving without a license, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and theft of identity of another without consent.
