Water levels rising on Barkley, Kentucky Lake

The US Forest Service said in a social media post Thursday that Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake are expected to crest above 360 feet by Friday.

Officials said the levels could impact numerous roads, boat ramps, trails and other recreation areas across LBL.

The high waters are due to the recent rains of two to five inches received last weekend across the state, and over the Cumberland and Tennessee River watersheds.
