A woman wanted in a hit-and-run incident in Graves County has been arrested.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said 37-year-old Latoya D. Johnston turned herself in on Wednesday.
Johnston had been wanted for the incident that happened on US 45 in which she allegedly struck 37-year-old Jamie L. Jackson of Water Valley, who was in the roadway chasing after a dog. Jackson had to be life flighted from the scene to an out of state hospital.
Johnston was served with an arrest warrant charging her with assault, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a suspended operators license. It was also the vehicle that she was operating was not insured.
The vehicle was impounded due to not having insurance.
Johnston reportedly expressed her apologies and apologized for not coming forward sooner and provided a full confession.
