U.S. Senator Rand Paul in Mayfield today

U.S. Senator Rand Paul visited Mayfield on Friday, as part of his tour of areas damaged by last week's tornadoes.

Paul was at His House Ministries, where he met with Pastor Steven Boykin, Pastor Joel Cauley of Relevant Church of Paducah, amd Mayfield Mayor Kathy O'Nan.  The Senator spoke about the response from the faith community and the unity he's seen.

"We do believe, we are our brother's keeper, and to see this outpouring of help is amazing.", Paul said. "I'm just amazed by what people are doing for each other, and so glad to be part of a Kentucky community that does care about their fellow man."

Following the stop in Mayfield, Senator Paul headed to Princeton and Dawson Springs to survey damage.
