Collision on US 45 in Graves County sends one to the hospital

A collision on US 45 in Graves County sent one person to the hospital on Sunday.

Deputies said the crash happened at the intersection of US 45 and State Route 849 around 2:15 pm.

They said 75-year-old Joy Woodford of Ledbetter was driving on State Route 849 and reportedly did not see a vehicle traveling US 45 driven by 51-year-old Erika Mogollon Zamorano of Mayfield. Mogollon Zamorano told deputies she was unable to avoid the collision as her vechicle struck Woodford’s in the driver’s door. 

Woodford was transported to a Paducah hospital. Zamorano and her passenger, 19-year-old Alberto Reyes were treated at the scene.
