Two people were removed from a vehicle Wednesday morning which partially submerged into a flooded field.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched to the 2800 block of Cairo Road and found the vehicle operated by 20-year-old Charity Massey of McCracken County.

A passenger was also in the vehicle, 11-year-old Priscilla Massey of McCracken County.

Investigators said Charity Massey lost control of the vehicle, leaving the right side of the road way, travelling down a short but steep hill, crashing through trees and ended up in the flooded field.

Both occupants left the partially submerged vehicle through the windows to the top of the vehicle while waiting for emergency personnel.  No injuries were reported.  The roadway was closed for about an hour.
