An 18-year-old and a juvenile were arrested in connection to a string of car break-ins in Graves County on Sunday night.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said suspects began ransacking several vehicles around 11 pm in the Fancy Farm area. The suspects targeted cars parked at homes on Jerome, Monroe and Hayden Streets. One vehicle was reportedly taken by the suspects for an apparent joyride before it was brought back.
Items reported stolen from some of the vehicles included prescription medication that were classified as controlled substances.
Photos and a video recorded the two suspects entering a car parked in a carport. Graves Sheriff's deputies were able to identify the two suspects on Tuesday afternoon as 18-year-old Ashton S. Sneathen and a 16-year-old juvenile male.
The Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Sneathen at his home on Rocky Road near Dublin around 2:45 pm Tuesday.
A few hours later they were able to locate and arrested the 16-year-old juvenile at a home on Ky Hwy 1710 near Golo.
Both Sneathen and the juvenile were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a controlled substance, and theft for items taken from vehicles.
