Paducah police recently arrested two men after they received separate tips from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Police said they received information about several email addresses and phone numbers, later determined to be used by 26-year-old Aaron Hobbs of Metropolis that were flagged for having several images containing child sexual abuse material.
Detectives served a search warrant and said they found found 88 images containing the material on devices belonging to Hobbs.
He was arrested on February 19.
Police said they received a second tip about a cloud-based storage system that had been flagged for having multiple images of child sexual abuse material, and identified the account owner as 41-year-old Joshua Amos of Paducah.
A search revealed more than 100 images containing child sexual abuse material.
Amos was arrested on March 9.
Hobbs was charged with 98 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Amos was charged with 98 count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and two counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12.
Both men were taken to the McCracken County Jail.
