Unrelated arrest warrants served over the weekend in Mayfield led to six arrests--five for drugs. The common theme was methamphetamine.

On Saturday, Graves County Sheriff's deputies and Mayfield Police officers served an arrest warrant alleging flagrant non-support.

Police arrived at a home on College Street looking for Misty D. Svoboda. As they served Svoboda, deputies saw suspected methamphetamine and later found scales.

Svoboda was arrested along with another person present in the home, Michael Hendley, on charges including possession of methamphetamine.

On Sunday, officers went to a home on North 17th Street to serve Dustin D. Blake with warrants for violating an emergency protective order and failure to appear. Deputies located Blake hiding under blankets in the kitchen.

Deputies also found Michael S. Hunter and Brent Mayfield in the home. Mayfield was located in a closet. Both had outstanding warrants.

Officers saw suspected meth pipes, and a search of the home allegedly located methamphetamine.

Blake and Hunter were charged with possession of methamphetamine along with Penny E. Todd of Mayfield.
