Two Paducah Tilghman High School students will face charges of terroristic threatening after two separate incidents.
Paducah police said the school resource officer was made aware of a threat Tuesday morning made by a student during class on Monday.
The student reportedly threatened to "shoot this place up." The threat led to a charge of third-degree terroristic threatening for a 14-year-old girl.
The officer was later informed Tuesday morning that a 14-year-old boy had claimed he would be "shooting up" an upcoming school event.
The boy was also charged with terroristic threatening.
After speaking with both students' parents, they learned neither juvenile had access to firearms.
