A two vehicle traffic accident Sunday morning in Graves County sent two Murray residents to an area hospital for treatment.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the accident occured around 9:40 am near the intersection of KY 94 East and KY 381. Investigators said a vehicle operated by 45-year-old Nicholas Yaciuk of McKenzie, TN was northbound on KY 381.
Yaciuk stopped at the stop sign and continued across KY 94 East.
Yaicuk's vehicle then pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Jerry Stark of Murray. After the initial impact, Stark struck a vacant building at the northwest corner of the intersection.
Stark and his wife, 75-year-old Melissa Stark, were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries while Yaicuk was not hurt.
