Trigg County woman indicted on theft charges

A Cadiz woman will appear in Trigg Circuit Court Wednesday after being indicted on theft charges.

WKDZ Radio reported Tuesday 46-year-old Melissa Rogers is accused of using a Trigg Couny Archery Club debit card to make over $26,000 in unathorized purchases from November 2021 until July of this year.

Cadiz police said the archery club was made aware of the thefts when a bank noiified them the account was in arrears.

The archery club account held fundraising efforts and club fees to pay for archery expenses.
