Student with BB gun forces lockdown of Trigg County schools

Trigg County school officials posted yesterday that they had to place schools on lockdown Wednesday for the threat of a weapon on campus.

According to a statement from Trigg County Schools, a student was found to be in possession of a BB gun. The gun was confiscated and the student was taken into custody.

County school superintendent Bill Thorpe posted that once the threat was dealt with, all schools came out of lockdown.
