Trigg County man charged with assaulting woman with vehicle

An altercation that involved a woman being struck by a vehicle led to the arrest  of a Trigg County man on Saturday night.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office told WKDZ they investigated a report of a woman being struck during the altercation in Deepwood Estates.

Investigators said the woman received injuries to her arm and head after allegedly being pushed by a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Leslie Cortner.  

Investigators also said Cortner drove away with the woman's arm still inside the vehicle window, knocking her to the ground.  

Cortner was later arrested and charged with assault.
