Two people were jailed after an investigation into a trespassing complaint in Paducah on Sunday.

While responding to the complaint in West Paducah, authorities learned the suspect, identified as Jacob Page, had left the area in a black Ford Expedition before deputies arrived.

The sheriff's office said deputies stopped the vehicle on Cairo Road, where they spoke with Page and his passenger, Nitosha Lofty.

Page was found to have a felony warrant, and a search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered meth and other drug-related items.

Page was served with the warrant and they were both charged with possession of methamphetamine.
