The McCracken County Sheriff's Office located a vehicle on I-24 that they said was already involved in a drug investigation.

The vehicle was stopped for traffic violations with the occupants identified as 37-year-old Jonathan Reid of Louisville and 29-year-old Kelsie Clark of Paducah.

During the stop. K-9 oficer "Pino" alerted to illegal narcotics inside the vehicle.

A search led to the discovery of 3,000 counterfeit pills containing Fentanyl, baggies of powdered cocaine, capusles suspected to contain raw powdered Fentanyl, Ecstasy pills containing suspected methamphetamine and $2,376 in cash believed to be proceeds of illicit drug sales.

Reid and Clark were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
