Traffic stop nets Murray pair on meth offenses

A Calloway County traffic stop late Tuesday night landed a Murray pair behind bars on drug charges.

Deputies made the stop at about 11:30, and said the driver, 28-year-old Sirena Beach, and passenger, 26-year-old Casey Martin, were found to have methamphetamine.

They were both charged with possession of methamphetamine. Beach was additionally charged with failure to maintain insurance, careless driving, and other traffic related offenses.

They were taken to the Calloway County jail.
