Traffic stop nets Mayfield man on drug trafficking charges

A Mayfield man will face drug charges after a Friday night traffic stop in Hickman County.

The sheriff's office said they were investigating drug trafficking and stopped a vehicle driven by Cornealius Brown.

The stop led deputies to search Brown, which reportedly uncovered an ounce of methamphetamine and 7.8 grams of marijuana.

Brown was arrested and taken to the Ballard County jail.
