A Murray man was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on US 641 North.
The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 54-year-old James R. Hornbuckle was found to have a suspended driver's license due to a previous DUI.
During the stop, Hornbuckle attempted to swallow a pill that he had in his possession in an attempt to conceal it.
He was charged with tampering with physical evidence, driving on a DUI suspended license and various traffic offenses. Hornbuckle was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
