A traffic stop in Murray on Wednesday afternoon turned into a drug arrest.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Main Street around 1 p.m. A roadside investigation allegedly found that the driver, 53-year-old Michael Orand of Murray, was in possession of methamphetamine and was driving on a DUI-suspended license.
Orand was arrested and charged with meth possession, driving on a DUI-suspended license, possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle, and no registration plates.
