Caldwell deputies are searching for a Tennessee man who fled from a traffic stop on Sunday in Princeton.

According to The Crittenden Press, Caldwell County deputies tried to stop a pickup along Madisonville Street that did not have working taillights. The truck, driven by 35-year-old Joseph Chastain from Southdie, Tennessee, fled from the stop. Chastain led deputies in a pursuit that ended when his truck ran off into a soybean field. Once stopped, the driver bailed and ran into a wooded area.

The passenger in the truck, 37-year-old Tracie Jones of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, was arrested. She is facing drug charges after a significant amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle. Jones was charged with trafficking in marijuana before being booked into the Caldwell County Jail.

Chastain will face charges as well once he is located.
