A traffic stop in the Fairdealing area on Saturday landed a Benton pair in jail on traffic and drug charges.
Marshall County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on KY 1484 off US 68. The driver, 43-year-old Tamica Hale of Benton, is charged with driving on a DUI-suspended license along with careless driving.
Hale's passenger, 51-year-old Christopher Linsin of Benton, was alleged to have been in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Both Hale and Linsin were arrested and taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
