McCracken man wanted on drug trafficking charges

A McCracken County man is wanted on drug trafficking charges and authorities are asking for help to find him.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is looking for 35-year-old Haywood Wesley Jones, Jr. There is a warrant out for Jones charging him with trafficking in methamphetamine in McCracken County. They say he is wanted on similar charges in other counties in the area. 

While Jones has ties to Western Kentucky, he also is known to travel to Southern Illinois as well as Louisiana and Tennessee.  

Jones is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He is said to weigh approximately 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Office or text a tip to West Kentucky Crime Stoppers. Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward.
