A tip led to a search then a drug arrest for a Lone Oak woman.
Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office were alerted about possible drug use in a home by the Department of Community-Based Services. The information prompted an investigation which resulted in a search warrant being obtained for a Daytona Street residence.
The warrant was served and a search was conducted on Tuesday. Detectives located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the home. Subsequently, they arrested the resident, 36-year-old Kimberly Swift, and charged her with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
She was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
