After the flooding this week, about a half dozen local roads still have water over them that will recede in the coming days.

However, three roads sustained damage caused by the floods and strong currents, and will need an extended closure for engineers to develop and execute a repair plan:

In Carlisle County, a section of KY 1591 is closed by a sinkhole.

In Hickman County, a portion of KY 3061 is closed by a landslide at cross drain.

In Marshall County, a section of KY 58 is closed where the  pavement is undermined after a slide.

For an updated list of the other roads still covered by high water, go to the KYTC District 1 Facebook page.
