Tennessee pair arrested on Graves County theft charges

An investigation into thefts from a road construction site in Graves County ended in the arrest of two Tennessee men on Friday.

Deputies said a construction site near Water Valley had been the target of theives over the last several weeks.

The suspects reportedly caused damage to heavy equipment while trying steal over a hundred gallons of fuel.

Deputies from Graves County and Weakley County in Tennessee reportedly identified 41-year-old Michael M. Harrison and 42-year-old Jerry E. Kibbler as the suspects.

After they were located, the pair allegedly admitted to stealing fuel while speaking with deputies.

Both Harrison and Kibbler were arrested and charged with criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking. In addition, Kibbler was served with warrants out of Fulton and Warren counties.

They were taken to the Calloway County jail.
