Tennessee man arrested in Paducah on drug charges

A Dickson, TN man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Paducah on drug trafficking charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they received a tip that 36-year-old Coty H. Owens was coming to Paducah to deliver a quantity of crystal methamphetamine,

Owens was apprehended at a gas station on Cairo Road and officers said he was in possession of methamphetamine. 

Investigators then searched a nearby hotel where additional meth was allegedly found. Police said they found a total of 147 grams of crystal meth. 

Owens was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
