Striping work this morning to briefly close N. 7th Street in Mayfield

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will briefly close a section of N. 7th Street in Mayfield from 10 a.m. to noon today.

The roadway will be closed for traffic striping from Broadway to Harmon Park.

During this time, North Street, Ann Street, Indiana Avenue and James Street will also be blocked at their intersections with N. 7th Street.

As part of the ongoing Rebuild Mayfield Project, this section of N. 7th Street will be converted from two lanes to a single lane with designated parking.

Striping of the parking spaces will be scheduled in the near future.
