Traffic stop nabs Mayfield man on drug charges

A traffic stop on Sunday night turned into a drug arrest for a Mayfield man.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle at a gas station on Lone Oak Road. Deputies spotted what they believed to be drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. During a search, they reportedly located methamphetamine and marijuana.

Wesley A. Jones of Mayfield was arrested and charged with possession of meth and marijuana and traffic offenses.
