This Halloween will be a dark and stormy day for many of us on Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Paducah is watching for a line of storms to move into southeast Missouri before dawn on Thursday morning. The storm line will progress eastward through the quad state on Halloween day.
Some of Thursday's storms may be strong, and a severe storm is possible, especially during the morning in southeast Missouri.
Rainfall of half an inch to one inch are possible, which will be more precipitation than the entire month of October for much of the region.
Rain will taper off on Thursday night, to a sunny 68 on Friday. Saturday will be partly sunny and 74.
A daily chance for showers will develop early Sunday into next week.
