A massive storm that's expected to bring strong blizzard conditions to the upper Midwest will send us embedded thunderstorms by Tuesday afternoon. They could drop a quick 1-2 inches of rain with the potential for a few hours of training rain activity and warm air. A few minor flooding issues are possible.
High temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will reach the middle to upper 50s. Behind the cold front, low temperatures Wednesday night will be colder, in the lower to middle 30s.
Thursday we'll fall to more seasonal mid-December temperatures into the lower to middle 40s under partly sunny skies and brisk northwest winds. Low temperatures Thursday night will dip into the 20s.
