Section of Tiline Road closing east of Smithland for two weeks

A lane restriction is planned for the next two weeks on KY 70/Tiline Road in Livingston County.

Beginning Monday, crews will work to stabilize the roadway east of Smithland where an embankment has experienced a landslide.

The lane will be restricted between Kristy Drive and Dodds Taylor Road. 

The work will take about two weeks to complete. Meanwhile, an automated traffic light will be in place 24 hours a day to alternate traffic through the work zone.
