Crash near Wingo sends one to the hospital

A crash in the wee hours of Saturday morning near Wingo sent one man to the hospital.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office was called out at about 3 a.m. to KY 339 just east of Wingo for the report of a single-vehicle crash. They found the vehicle resting on its roof just off the roadway and located the driver, 24-year-old Brevon Hayes of Wingo on the ground nearby.

Investigators said Hayes' vehicle hit an earthen embankment and a couple of mailboxes before rolling onto its roof. 

EMS transported Hayes to the Wingo ball fields to meet Air Evac for a flight to Vanderbilt.
