The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning a rolling work zone along eastbound Interstate 24 from Lyon County to Trigg County on Thursday.
From 7 am until approximately 3 pm, a team from the Kentucky Transportation Center will deploy ground-penetrating radar and conduct an edge-drain video inspection of the 14-mile stretch from the 51 to 65 mile markers.
Some areas may require the crew to work along the shoulder in the same spot for an extended period. Other times, the rolling caravan will be moving continuously, but at speeds as low as 15 mph.
