Road closed at Lamasco during domestic assault and police standoff

A domestic incident in Lyon County forced KY 903 to be closed for a time on New Years Eve afternoon. 

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office posted that they were assisted by Kentucky State Police to block KY 903 outside Lamasco while they handled a domestic assault and standoff with police.

They said a male suspect taken into custody around 6 p.m. and the road was reopened.

No other details have been released at this time.
