Livingston County Schools named Amy Ramage their new superintendent on Thursday at a meeting in Smithland.
Ramage has been a part of the Livingston County system for over 20 years. A graduate of the district, she's been a teacher, assistant principal, and district administrator in her career. She has been the Director of Pupil Personnel for the last 14 years in addition to managing maintenance, facilities, and capital projects for the district. She spearheaded the pursuit of a $6 million grant for the renovation of the Career and Technical Center at Livingston Central High School.
Ramage takes the mantle from fellow Livingston graduate Dr. David Meinschein who will take over the Murray Independent Schools on July 1st.
