Three jailed after probe into Marshall County sex offender

A Marshall County investigation into non-compliance with the sex offender registry has ended in three arrests.

Deputies said they had reason to believe Nathaniel Lowery was living at Hilldale Apartments, even though it was not his address of registration.

In addition, the sheriff's office said two other residents, identified as Angela Weber and Lisa Bates, provided false statements to authorities regarding Lowery.

Thirty-two-year-old Lowery was located and charged with failure to comply with the sex offender registry and possession of marijuana.

Weber and Bates were charged with providing false statements to law enforcement and harboring a non-compliant sex offender.
