Power was restored to most of the Murray State University campus as of Tuesday, according to university leaders.
Officials said the CFSB Center, Wellness Center and the RH White and Regents Hall are still without power.
According to the RacerAlert from MSU, the campus electrical power outage was due to a lightning strike early Saturday morning.
While contractors are continuing to work on the restoration of power, residents of RH White and Regents Halls will be contacted by housing staff regarding temporary relocation.
Classes were canceled at the main and regional campuses on Tuesday and Wednesday due to incoming snow and extremely cold temperatures.
On Thursday and Friday, MSU administrative offices will be working remotely, as well as classes.
