Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Murray

A pedestrian was injured in Murray last week after he was struck by a vehicle.

The Murray Police Department responded to the accident at the intersection of 121 North and Walmart Drive.

Nineteen-year-old Ainsley Smith of Murray said she began making a left turn at the intersection but didn't notice the pedestrians in the cross walk and struck 47-year-old Chris Garland, also of Murray.

Garland was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
