A pedestrian was hit in Lone Oak on Saturday night while crossing the road.

Just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday, McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Huck's near Lone Oak Road and Gilhaven Drive. The pedestrian, Magic Priddy of Lone Oak, was heading home and trying to cross US 45 when the incident occurred. Investigators said that Priddy was in the center turn lane waiting to cross when the southbound vehicle, driven by Michael Ratliff of Lone Oak, pulled into the turn lane headed toward Huck's. Ratliff spotted Priddy and tried to avoid him. Priddy tried to get out of the way, as well but was hit in the southbound lane.

Mercy EMS treated Priddy at the scene before taking him to the hospital.
