The pattern of isolated but strong thunderstorms will continue all the way to next weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and move slowly east across the area. Isolated thunderstorms may produce damaging winds.
All storms will be capable of brief torrential rainfall.
The same chances for scattered thunderstorms will continue through the week with highs in the low 90s and head index readings near 100.
Any increased coverage of storms could occur on Thursday into Friday.
