Pair of Paducah women arrested on meth charges

A pair of Paducah women were arrested for meth following complaints of illegal drug activity.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said it had received complaints of illegal drug activity possibly taking place at an apartment on Hovenkamp Road in the Farley community of McCracken County.

Detectives said that one of the resident's 45 -year-old, Mandy J. Lane of Paducah, was allegedly selling meth.

Authorities came in contact with Lane and 60-year-old Sharon D. Cornwell of Paducah on Tuesday. A search reportedly revealed quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, assorted drug items and other evidence of illegal drug trafficking.

Both Lane and Cornwell were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Additionally, Lane was charged with possession of marijuana.
