This year's Paducky Derby set a fundraising record for the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center.

The center announced that the 8th annual event raised a record-setting $130,000 to help survivors of domestic violence in the Purchase Region.

Participants of the derby adoped 17,910 rubber ducks which were dumped into Montgomery Lake in Noble Park last weekend.

The duck that crossed the finish line first in the race was adopted by Hardin Baptist Church.
