Paducah police participate in active threat training ahead of school year

The Paducah Police Department spent the last several weeks preparing for the upcoming school year with active threat training.

The police department said school safety remains a priority for the department, after spending weeks training at Paducah Tilghman High School.

Officers learned critical skills, preparedness, and response tactics with the goal of increasing effectiveness during an emergency.
