A Paducah native is among the latest players announced for the TV reality show "Big Brother."

Variety Magazine posted that 23-year-old Isaiah “Zae” Frederich is from Paducah, but currently lives in Provo, Utah. His occupation is listed as a salesperson.

Frederich is among 16 contestants revealed on Tuesday for the 27th edition of the CBS television show that premieres Thursday night. Of the eight men nnd eight women, ten are in their 20s and four in their 30s,The other two contestants are 43 and 50.

"Big Brother" follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 112 cameras and 113 microphones, and records their every move 24 hours a day. The name of the show refers to the character in the George Orwell novel "1984," and the concept, "Big Brother is watching you."

Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving a grand prize of $750,000. 

The first episode of this season will air on Thursday night on CBS.
