A drug investigation in Paducah landed three people behind bars on meth charges Thursday.
Authorities said they've been investigating 30-year-old Dustin B. Edging of Kuttawa and 33-year-old Kelsi Rae Mann of Paducah, and learned Edging would be selling drugs in Paducah Thursday afternoon.
Edging is on probation with an ankle monitor, and local Probation and Parole officers reportedly provided detectives with information on Edging's whereabouts.
Detectives said Edging was seen meeting with 31-year-old Emma Wadley at a truck stop on Exit 16, and stopped Wadley as she left the truck stop.
A search of Wadley's vehicle reportedly uncovered 2.6 pounds of meth in the trunk. Edging was also apprehended and allegedly admitted to officers he was in Paducah to sell the drugs found in the trunk.
Soon after, Mann was stopped as she left her home in Paducah. A search of her vehicle reportedly uncovered an additional 1.5 grams of meth.
They were all three taken to the McCracken County jail.
