Paducah man dies from injuries in Cairo Road crash

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man from Paducah died after an accident on Monday afternoon.

Deputies were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash in the 7400 block of Cairo Road at around 4:40 p.m. 

The deputies found a truck with heavy damage and the driver, an adult male, had been ejected from the vehicle.

Deputies determined that the vehicle struck a tree, rolled over more than once and struck two other trees before it came to rest in a field.

The man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The victim’s identity was not released prior to notification of family.
